June Cosplay Woes & Buys

Ahh *stretches* now with the launch at work over, I can focus a bit on cosplay. I'm having my Tenipuri Shoot this weekend so prepping my face and packing stuffs to make sure I don't forget anything :D. PS: did anyone get the problem of Blogger swallowing up the reading list? Mine was blank the last 2 days which got me panicking since I stalk a lot of blogshops and friend's blogs OwO;;

Back to entry.... I bought a new racquet with my Hari Belia winnings while the rest is chucked into savings :3. Initially I was set on the Dunlop Biomimetic 600 Lite based on my research last year but the dealer recommended the 700 as it's the latest model.

The racquet was RM200 more compared to the 600 Lite but it had a promo and some freebies. The racquet was an upgrade from the 600 Lite so I figured I'd just get it. Not to mention that the 700 is 20+ grams lighter than the 600 Lite.

Took it for stringing on Monday and I just collected it this afternoon :D

Most expensive prop ever! This is gonna be Yamato's racquet XD;; Quite happy with my purchase except the dealer is so pushy zzzz so not gonna recommend it to people D: All I need to do now is pamper my face for the rest of the week and give my wig a little trim~

Next is the Working! shoot which is tentatively after Raya ;_; but we have yet to find a location so last week I had a recce with some of the members over breakfast.

The place turned out to be Levain's baby sister and the location seems too small to shoot so yea... plan scrapped ;w; Going to recce the second location within the next 2 weeks.

Cosplay book ordered from China, Maru book that Audrey helped me buy from Japan.... it was priced at RM74 in Kino FML. Saiyuki Character Book: Sanzo & Goku ordered from Kino :3. All books that I can never understand :D but I can always admire the pretty pictures instead lolol.

Collected my Moekana cards from Swing <3

Oh I'm not a fan of Danny Choo's stuff really but I respect him as an entrepreneur. These are Hiragana flash cards and I find the price quite affordable. Between this and the boring flash cards available at bookstores, might as well get this instead XD;; Now to wait and see if there's a Katakana version coming out :D

Tenipuri 100 Kyoku Marathon: My obsession with Hiroki lol

Just finished downloading and watching Tenipuri 100 Kyoku Marathon XD~~~ I am a hardcore Tenipuri fan but there are some things in Tenipuri that I don't follow. Like the live movie and TeniMyu D: somehow seeing silly tennis moves brought to life isn't as good =(. Anyways back to the marathon, the following screencaps are taken from unknownsolution and Tetora's Multiply accounts.

So much nostalgia watching the DVD!!! And the seiyuu's are all so good ;_; 90% accurate to what you hear from their singles. Oh Minagawa Junko you're my idollll \>A</. I could name about 40 songs out of the 100, does that mean I'm not hardcore enough? @_@ Most of the songs I recognize are from the Seigaku cast and Atobe's XD. You do get to see the smaller groups like Aozu, Cap to bin and Hyoutei Eternity oh and also THE MEGANE'S XD

Oh boy he's so cuuuuutttteeeeeeeeee. Eiji's voice is a lot more high pitched but I still think he did quite a fantastic job during the marathon *_*. He's got cute dimples too <33333 I can't believe he's 32 TAT and still has such an adorable look!!!

Almost cried when they sang White Line ;__; their voices are so beautifullllll and I think Oishi should have more singles or character CD's! His voice is honestly very beautiful~

The Meganes XD

Ahh~~~ another group I've come to like after watching the video XD. Consist of 3 members Okiayu Ryoutaro (Kunimitsu Tezuka), Kiuchi Hidenobu (Oshitari Yushi) and Tsuda Kenjiro (Inui Sadaharu). All 3 of them look so good in glasses!!! ;A; so smexy~~~~ especially Okiayu Ryoutarou~ XD so.... I have an extra shot OTL 

I wonder did they style his hair intentionally to look like Tezuka XD

Can't believe he's 50! and hardly any wrinkles booooo damn Japanese >w<

and Tsuda kenjiro looks so geek *o* so INUI!!!! XD He has a very nice singing voice though pity I only heard how good he is from the Anukiji Christmas CD's. Rest of Inui's singles are kinda meh =/ I'm a bit sad that Kiuchi Hidenobu didn't do Oshitari's usual Kansai accent =/

Valentine Kiss!

Valentine Kiss with Sanada, Atobe, Kabaji, Shishido, Ootori and Rikkaidai members. I wish they make all the males have a Valentine Kiss single T_T. For those who listen to Sanada's single, you rmember at the end he went screeching 'KKKIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSS'??

Another side character that I found awesome is Kuki Kiichi's seiyuu, Eiji Takemoto. For those who don't know, Kuki's from Kakinoku Middle School and appeared during the Tokyo Prefectures. If not mistaken it was the first few episodes like between Ep 10 to 20? But yes there's a few singles of him reciting tongue twisters I found it kinda cool XD

Tenipuri 100 Song marathon Part 1/10

I just finished watching the recently released OVA and I found this video from the same user

Tenipuri 100 song marathon AAAAAAAA *insert super loud screams here* It's like a dream to hear them sing live!!!! I'm surprised that Naru Kawamoto (Takeshi Kawamura) and Masaya Onosaka (Takeshi Momoshiro) sound so bloody good live!!! All of them are so hyper and jumpy and even after 10 years they still sound fantastic!!!!

I also just found out that the DVD cost almost RM400 *goes cry a river* so I'll have to settle ripping from Youtube and finding a way to combine them!!!

My Fandom Can Kill Me Someday

Anime has influenced me from way back in 2002 D8 omg that makes almost 10 years I've been exposed to Anime! Putting Sailormoon and Doraemon aside, my first time watching Anime in Jap was Gensomaden Saiyuki where I learned how to swear...... LOL. I have only 3 favorite characters up to today. Sanzo from Saiyuki who thought me that swearing is okay 8D, Ryoma from Prince of Tennis and Karupin from Prince of Tennis too! 8D

I feel so bad for fangirling over a 12 year old boy! *sobs* Back when I was 15, I thought it was no biggie XP but now I'm nearing 23 and it almost feels like it's a sin! =w=;;; Because of him, I took up tennis and self-learn using tutorials from the web XD;; When school reopened, I joined the tennis club *w*b together with Audrey ohohohoh good times *sigh*. This was one of the very rare moments I could ever recall myself taking such initiative =(.

Another reason I joined the tennis club is because the badminton club in school is always full D8 so it's either we won't get a chance to play or we play with your neighbor 2 meters away wtf. Besides, tennis was one game I didn't need to worry about the wind messing with our ball if we play outdoors =D. Your wall is your best partner too if no one else is free *_*b I spent most of my time with the wall during the school holidays.

Sorry for the lack of updates cuz I've been so busy at office, most of the time leaving past 10pm and my head only hits the pillow at 2am, waking up at 6.30am to go back to office again T_T. I survived by watching POT which brought back my Ryoma craze *w*. I'm now dying to collect POT merchandise T_T but it'll be so hard to find by now *sobs*.
