A Month of Accomplishment :D

Month of May has been quite a productive month both in my personal life and at work. It has been a stressful week at work and at the same time I've complete 2 very delayed shoots that took me 5-6 months of shoot prep due to unforeseen circumstances.

Romeo x Juliet
This was one of the recent shoots done last week. Debuted the costume during Comic Fiesta 2012 but had so much problem setting a time and date to shoot since everyone had different schedules. It was one of my most satisfying shoots as there's quite a lot of shots that can be used and also plenty of omake shots :D Will be doing an in-progress post about it soon :D

We wrapped everything up in 3 hours! That's quite a productive shoot haha

Organizing a team of 20 people is a pain but worth it orz. This was one of the longest shoot I had. We started in the morning 7am at Cyberjaya for the first shoot then moved to Selayang for the evening shoot. The weather was horrible so sad to say we didn't have much shots that can be used :( nevertheless I had a really fun time with the geng as we tried out some new ideas.

Dogathon 2012

Dogathon is back again! It's going to be a yearly visit for me XD The only place I can go molest all the dogs to my heart's content! <3 This year, Dogathon was held at Bukit Ekspo, UPM serdang. A joint effort between The Students' Society of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and The Zoologico Club of University Putra Malaysia. One of the biggest dog events in Malaysia where you can get all the pet therapy you need =P

PS: The following pictures are a mixture of mine and some taken from Swing's album. The pretty pictures are hers ;_;
This year there's a Halloween theme :D All dogs require a full checkup before entering the field. I guess it's practical training for the veterinary faculty? =P
First up, we spotted a VERY beautiful Alaskan Malamute!!!! To my surprise, it belonged to SPCA O_O.

LOOK AT ITTTTTTT *____* So handsome!
Beautiful shorty Shetland Sheepdog 8D
Red Husky XD
More Huskies! <3
A fluffy Spitz 8D Looks like a nice foot stool *kena piak*
Loads of Golden Retrievers too :D This one had one of the most softest fur I've ever felt <3
Both are poms! <3
HUSKIES! Huskies everywhere XD
This year there was a lot more Huskies O_O and turns out, they were all from the same Husky community so every year they gather for a picnic. Pick a Husky and molests lol, all in many sizes and colors lined up XD;;

And then.... we found THE Husky to squeal over for the rest of the day!!!

MEET NOBITAAAAAAA <3

Looks like a teddy bear!!!!! According to the owner, they never trim the fur O_O. Nobita looks like it's wearing a fur hat hehehehe <3

And these 2 Huskies here look like twins :) never got to find out if they are or not haha
Fattest dog I've seen, EVER D:
That goldie could barely support it's own weight D:. Dogathon this year was very muddy that's to the PMS weather, my shoes were caked with mud T_T. Most of the dogs this year seem quite camera shy T3T or maybe I'm just so slow in taking their pics.... Anyways, if you adore dogs and can't keep one, this is the place you should visit for your 'pet therapy'. Seeya in Dogathon 2013!!! >o</

Post-Halloween Shoutout!

Hello guysssss :D hope you had a Happy Halloween dressing up and scaring the shit out of people! So many places were having their own Halloween parties. I attended one of my friend's Halloween party at her place but sadly didn't dress up since I came straight from work, and the evening rain dampened my spirits :(. Still, I was curious to see how the rest would dress up~ :D

Carved pumpkins!
Part of the decorations by Shio and Potter! I feel so guilty for not dressing up especially with so much effort from Shio and Potter in decorating the whole house T_T

The 2 hosts: Shio (creepy witch there) and Potter (mummy in bling specs)
Yoke Lai also unleashed her bishie potential! With a cute fluffy spider on her head~ <3

Some Halloween themed finger food
There was also pumkin carving sessions for those who wished to try~
Jared and his rotting skin?
Rest of the group! You can see the rest of the Halloween decorations! Cool right? :D
Note to self: Should plan for Halloween costume early T_T. Thank you Shio and Potter for the invite!!! I shall dress up should there be a next time! XD

PS: Some of the pictures are taken by Raz :D so yes credits to him~

Weekend Ventures #2309

Been having conflicting thoughts during the weekend. Between juggling work and other issues along with my car's sudden breakdown last week (that will be another story to be told next time :D) manage to have the weekend to myself attending a beauty workshop and catching up with friends~

Didn't go for the H&M launch cuz I was afraid of the crowd haha. Probably should go next week *w*. Still waiting for reports and blog updates on H&M's opening day, I don't see much hype on my flist and on their FB international page :( So instead of attending the H&M opening day, I went for Guerlain's beauty workshop organized by Hello! magazine :D

It was one workshop I really enjoyed and I'm starting to love all their products! Oh my monies ;A; Thankfully I didn't buy anything, but I don't think I'll be able to hold myself for long T_T especially with the Meteorites + Meteorite Primer set going for RM299!

Had lunch/tea with Jonathan who traveled down from PJ~! Thankew! :D We went to Ben's and shared a meal! Don't get me wrong >A< portions were huge and there's no way I could finish on my own! Foursquare was right.... the service IS terrible lol.

Our Banoffee Sundae :D
He showed me how he made his cigs @_@
Hand making
Tadaa~
The other flavors he has.
Did a little bit of retail therapy as well :D I'm having a sudden interest with those long and also chunky collar necklaces.
Long necklace for RM10 at Asian Avenue. I saw the same one selling for RM15 at Offline Boutique lolol. Also  bought a flair work skirt from Cotton On for RM59.90!
Makeup haul for the month of September!
Bought Kiss Me eyeliner since my current one is drying up. It's RM10 cheaper than K-Palette I'm sorry T___T. RMK lipgloss which I got it for RM50 and brand new from Felicia! Mixture of eyelashes that I ordered from May and also the bottom 4 were donations from Belle >w< to test bishie makeup. Lastly the assorted colo I mean eye pencils to test coloring eyebrows!

Dad also just came back from Beijing. In all jakuness be bought back a lot of China snacks. Mooncakes that feel as hard as biscuits lol. On the flight back to KL, he bought some duty-free chocolates which his boss end up offering to pay.
PATCHIIIIIIIII  Thankew daddy's boss! *o* *kowtows*
Mum doesn't really like it but LESS MEN MORE SHARE! 8D
Quite an eventful week as I looked back at what I'm typing in for the post XD;; Now I feel so much better and ready to fight for this week! >w<b

WEVents 2nd Anniversary: Transformation

Last July I entered a contest organized by WEVents for a complete makeover session. Surprisingly I was one of the 10 shortlisted candidates \*w*/. Throughout the month of August, we were arranged to go through grooming and fitting sessions. We were sponsored facial products by Himalaya, a facial session from Mary Chia, fitting session at Parkson where all of us girls were squealing with glee picking clothes, shoes and accessories with our adviser Sam from Inspiring Individuals.

On the day of the event, we were presented to the public for voting to see who had the best transformation. Surprisingly I placed 3rd! \>w</ I honestly never expected to win, I just joined in hopes of picking up some grooming tips. Thanks a lot to WEVents for having this contest and the attendees who voted for me ;_;

All the women there were just gorgeous and I'm so glad to have met them! I got to meet Christy who just gave birth a few months ago but her body doesn't show one bit! Then there's Vanitha, so full of spunk and cracking jokes till my ribs ached XD;;. I met Camie as well surprisingly :D good to see a familiar face <3. And best of all Susee and Khairulbariah who took 1st and 2nd place in the contest :D I tell you those 2 ladies are just so hyper, they make me feel old lolol. Goes to say women age like fine wine I guess XD

Prizes :D
Heeheeee thanks to the sponsors for WEVents 2nd Anniversaty for the prizes *w*
RM500 Stage hamper
Haircut from A Cut Above (just in time too since I was complaining how cosplay is making me too poor to get a haircut lol)
RM100 Parkson gift card (Awesome! Now can buy sports bra! 8D)

Next few entries will elaborate more on the sessions we had with Himalaya, Mary Chia and Parkson :D Till then! *poofs in a cloud of smoke*

Singing Our Spirit Out

Well... wanted to write up about the Young Hearts Workshop but I have last minute stuff arranged next morning so here's a quick update about last weekend :D. Silvy's been poisoning her wall with DIB posts and I'm finally hooked! Went to visit the place last weekend as DIB started a Customers Sing Along night every Saturday. The cafe has a very unique concept which I'll explain in another post cuz I don't have sufficient pictures T3T.

Met up with Silvy~ :D
What you get when you order brewed coffee :D
I was panicking the whole week since we were suppose to bring our own song sheets and chords. I was so worried since I couldn't estimate what kind of crown would be there and what kind of songs they will enjoy @_@ Heck could be Eagles or Westlife or maybe.... BIEBER! Thank god DIB's owner, Mr Allan Teh prepared some songs and chords for us!!!
Here's Hito jiwang to BSB's I Want It That Way XD
Jared also sang. ahhh look at the bromance between them! *_*
Us 3 girls~ <3
Achievement unlocked for the night! XD Everyone who sang that night got a DIB's VIP card :D
This year I've been buying a couple of Japanese books T3T. After I bought the Saiyuki Character Book Sanzo x Goku, I dropped by again to get Shinpuri's Official Anime Visual Book. ahh my wallet it criesssss.
RM83 T__T
Feels worth it though since it's 80 pages of full color. There's illustrations and also player list in the U-17 camp X3. Next book I'm looking forward to get is Saiyuki's Salty Dog VII. So sad the cover is Gojyo and Goku..... but I'm looking forward to the contents heehehehe saw some pretty nice illustrations of Sanzo <3. Can I like hope for it to be a birthday present? lolol *kena piak*

Animangaki feels like it's around the corner and I still have a few things to do so dumping my to-do-list for the week here

  1. Buy white and green dye for headband and wristband --> 7 Aug

June Cosplay Woes & Buys

Ahh *stretches* now with the launch at work over, I can focus a bit on cosplay. I'm having my Tenipuri Shoot this weekend so prepping my face and packing stuffs to make sure I don't forget anything :D. PS: did anyone get the problem of Blogger swallowing up the reading list? Mine was blank the last 2 days which got me panicking since I stalk a lot of blogshops and friend's blogs OwO;;

Back to entry.... I bought a new racquet with my Hari Belia winnings while the rest is chucked into savings :3. Initially I was set on the Dunlop Biomimetic 600 Lite based on my research last year but the dealer recommended the 700 as it's the latest model.
The racquet was RM200 more compared to the 600 Lite but it had a promo and some freebies. The racquet was an upgrade from the 600 Lite so I figured I'd just get it. Not to mention that the 700 is 20+ grams lighter than the 600 Lite.
Took it for stringing on Monday and I just collected it this afternoon :D
Most expensive prop ever! This is gonna be Yamato's racquet XD;; Quite happy with my purchase except the dealer is so pushy zzzz so not gonna recommend it to people D: All I need to do now is pamper my face for the rest of the week and give my wig a little trim~

Next is the Working! shoot which is tentatively after Raya ;_; but we have yet to find a location so last week I had a recce with some of the members over breakfast.
Our Inami started with dessert first haha

The place turned out to be Levain's baby sister and the location seems too small to shoot so yea... plan scrapped ;w; Going to recce the second location within the next 2 weeks.

Goodies I got throughout the month which were all books i can't read LOL
Cosplay book ordered from China, Maru book that Audrey helped me buy from Japan.... it was priced at RM74 in Kino FML. Saiyuki Character Book: Sanzo & Goku ordered from Kino :3. All books that I can never understand :D but I can always admire the pretty pictures instead lolol.
Collected my Moekana cards from Swing <3
Oh I'm not a fan of Danny Choo's stuff really but I respect him as an entrepreneur. These are Hiragana flash cards and I find the price quite affordable. Between this and the boring flash cards available at bookstores, might as well get this instead XD;; Now to wait and see if there's a Katakana version coming out :D
