ManiPedi @ The Nail Bar, A Girls Day Out

Wheeeee weekend is here and first thing I did on a Saturday was to hit the gym then joined my bestie, Audrey out for a pampering session at The Nail Bar, Pavilion. Few months ago, we purchased a Groupon voucher for a classic manipedi + hand and leg massage. The place is located on the 6th floor INSIDE Miko Hair Saloon. We had to call the person to find out where it was since this wasn't mentioned lol

The Nail Bar takes up a very tiny section of the hair salon. Right at the entrance, you can see their wide range of nail polish colors available which also serves as a wall of privacy at the same time :P

The area is able to fit up to 4 customers only

I was shocked to see how small the place was @_@, only being able to tend to 4 customers at a time.... no wonder they were so fully booked. There's not much area for the staff as you can see things dumped here and there.

I was itching to try the crackle nail polish but I don't think it would suit my tiny nails >< so I opted for something between orange and pink.... coral I suppose XD;; Audrey on the other hand, took a shimmery mint green shade.

Our manipedi was done in record breaking time.... 40 MINUTES. Compared to my experience at Posh! Nail Spa, this was a bloody super rush job. Not only I didn't feel pampered, the environment was very cramped. There's a thin line between cosy and cramped and this was just plain cramped because everyone was so close to each other... The main counter for The Nail Bar was so close to me that I can just whack her with my short hands =___=;;

The manicurist applied the base coat and then the color before the base coat could dry up... as a result, the polish came off in a chunk.....

Before our nail polish could dry, another customer came for her appointment so Audrey got shooed from her seat to sit elsewhere @_@. I'm not fond of manipedi's in the first place but honestly from this experience, I would never recommend this place to anyone.... Goes to show that some companies are only interested to generate sales rather that looking at the long term goal of building a customer base...

Post-Halloween Shoutout!

Hello guysssss :D hope you had a Happy Halloween dressing up and scaring the shit out of people! So many places were having their own Halloween parties. I attended one of my friend's Halloween party at her place but sadly didn't dress up since I came straight from work, and the evening rain dampened my spirits :(. Still, I was curious to see how the rest would dress up~ :D

Rosti oh Rosti~ I'm mad for Rosti~

This week marks the end of the long string of holidays T___T No more public holidays till May!!! *sobs* this is why I can't go to Singapore yet XD;;; I'm just so pampered by Malaysian public holidays hehe~ We had Monday and Tuesday as a holiday so I thought of heading out for some market research~

Had a nasty fall on Monday followed by a fever, cough, cold and diarrhea in the next 24 hours.... Let me introduce you to my new best friends...

The lipbalm was a life savior, one of the best I've used. Should probably put it on my review list :D. Being sick didn't stop me from doing my other shiz!

Went to a friend's birthday partyyyyy

Party was held at Marche! I've never been to the place but have read up on their Marketplace Dining concept so was curious to try.

We were given a passport at the entrance and it gets stamped after every order. At the end of the meal, the passport will be given to the cashier to calculate X3 It's like dining at a very expensive food court with better food XD;;

Potter had kindly set a menu for all the guests but I ended up taking the ala carte passport since I was still having flu and cough, can't really eat much =(

Beef bacon rosti!!! :D 

The only place I know that has rosti besides Outpost cafe which closed some time ago. The rosti wasn't very crispy and it's horribly oily but for this much and RM14.90, it's not too bad :D. I have such a huge rosti craving now T_T;; I'm gonna hunt every single cafe in KL that sells rosti next!

It Just Needed a Special Post XD

Not so pretty since this was all done in Paint XD;; but it was funny watching her so panicky when all the time she was wearing it HAHAHAHAHAH and she was wearing the mask on that day too XD;;

Short Lived Freedom!

My car is turning into a second house haha. I tossed my shoes to the back this morning before starting the engine since slippers aren't allowed in the exam hall. Exam thankfully was a breeze (sorta). Lecturer told us exactly what's coming out only I took him half seriously =.=

After exam, it was 10 minutes of screaming 'freedom' then rush to meet up with Shaun, Ashlyn and Daniel for a trip to Pulau Ketam~ =D Due to some delays, we only reached there at 3pm orz. From here I'll let the pictures do some of the talking for me.

We had an awesome meal of Buttered Fried Prawns, Sweet and Sour Crab, Claypot Curry Fish, some lala cooked with ginger and Kailan for the heck of having a balanced meal =D The guys were abused as our DBKL as usual but one of them forgot to bring his extra tank =w=;;

After our lunch, we took a walk to burn some calories while reminiscing the old times. Ashlyn bought some marbles and Shaun went on a hat frenzy haha. We bought the iced flavoured lollies in plastic wraps that used to cost 20 cents back in out school days. Cheap yet refreshing on a hot sunny day 8D. My iced lolly ended up being eaten by the turtles orz cuz I accidentally dropped mine in a pool filled with those amphibians.

KTM Funz~

Mum called later on dragging me to see her friend's new house then it was another huge meal, dinner DX. Her friend decided to treat us so we called dishes. You can imagine how bloated am I right now D8 and all the guilt I'm feeling for eating so much. There was a nice cat there too <3 I've molested a total of 5 cats today <3

I think some of you might be wondering now.... 'WTF WHERE'S THE FOOD PICS MAN! I AIN'T INTERESTED ABOUT THE ANIMALS YOU MOLESTED!' Sorry D8 the food charmed us to eat them and by the time we woke up from the spell, half of the food was gone D: Prolly will get the remaining pictures from Ashlyn. Sorry for the bad quality pics on my blog. It's only a 1.3 megapixel cameraphone afterall =( I'll end this entry with a paparazzi pic :P
