La Senza Body Kiss Exclusive Party

Hey peeps~ La Senza's most comfortable range is back again! This time in 7 new colors, perfect to welcome the summer heat that's hit us recently. It's getting almost impossible to sleep with this heat @_@ what more trying to focus on your daily activities in the day time.

I was fortunate enough to receive an invite from The Butterfly Project (on the day of the event itself HAHA), thank you Tammy! *o* I've never been to any of La Senza's events before so I was really excited :D

To start off, Wave gave us a short brief on the correct way to measure and determine which bra size is suitable for us. The measurements serve as a guide when you pick your bra but by the end of the day the size deffer depending on the effect you want to achieve.

I found it pretty nifty that La Senza has their own measurement cards to match their bra sizes so we can measure and determine for ourselves~ We we're then paired up for a very intimate ice-breaking session where we have to help measure our partner's bust size haha. Very interesting ice-breaking session and turns out me and my partner are the same size lolol. Does that make us bosom buddies? *gets smacked*

Next up was Ms Cynthia who gave us a brief introduction on the Body Kiss range. This year, the Body Kiss range comes in 7 new fashion color choices to match any personality. After that, we joined in for a little game with La Senza. The task was to hunt down lollipops that the staff had  hidden in the drawers containing the Body Kiss range. The winner would then be treated to a 30-second shopping spree at La Senza!!! Super awesome reward I tell you!!! It's a pity I couldn't win it >w< There were a lot of drawers slamming for the next 30 seconds as bloggers were all fighting to grab the most lollipops. There was a tie breaker at the end and Farah was the lucky winner for the night.

We ended the night with dinner at The Apartment courtesy of La Senza. I was only expecting a normal dinner but OH MY!!! they've even set up for the night! Check out the romantic atmosphere!!

The La Senza staff were seated together with us so we got a chance to mingle with them which I found it to be a very good move from La Senza management :D It's very rare to be able to get the chance to mingle and personally give our thanks to the organizers.... so thank you again La Senza for organizing this exclusive party! Unzipping Tea Party with Bag of Love & Delectable Su

ARGH! 3 weeks delay to update this! Damn I'm a horrid blogger T_T. Right after this event, I had so much work piling up not to mention I had a shoot early May so had to put my blogging on halt. But now that I'm back (hopefully long enough to churn out a few posts), would like to share about the last event I went which was an UNZIPPING event hehehe. No it didn't involve me or any other human unzipping lol.

Late April, I scored an invite to be one of the first few people to unzip Bag of Love's April bag :D. There were 2 sessions with 15 people for each sessions held at Delectable Su.

The dessert table that greeted the girls *_* OMIGOSH look at all those desserts!!! So many of us and only 15 of us haha I didn't touch much of the desserts cuz I'm not one to eat such sweet foods so early in the morning ><.

Being bloggers, we were all swarming the dessert table and snapping photos for a good hour. No one dared to touch the food for some unknown reason haha. Maybe scared other people haven't got their shots? Or desserts too pretty to eat? XD

Meet Mi Mi, a self professed beauty addict, formerly a beauty writer for some of the biggest beauty magazines in Malaysia and now the person behind the Bag of Love. I was surprised to find out she's a mum to two kids! OAO She's so bubbly yet humble as she spoke about the Bag of Love, telling us her difficulties when preparing the bags while sharing how much she enjoys what she's doing. After her speech, Santa Tammy came out and gave us each an April edition Bag of Love (wheee!!!).

Oh wow!! Look at all those products!!! My mind immediately registered Body Shop, Decleor, Burts Bees and Definite! So happy that there's a Definite brush in the bag! :D Last month, it was a cheek brush, this time it's a contour brush which is a cosplayer's must have hehe! I was considering to buy a contour brush but not anymore as the Definite brush in April's Bag of Love is in FULL SIZE! :D More about the products in the next post!

Just Gorgeous, Just You, The Great Guardian Makeover 2013

Guardian's Great makeover Event is back for its 6th consecutive year and this year! With the theme Just Gorgeous, Just You, the Great Guardian Makeover is aimed at empowering its customers to discover and achieve a look that brings confidence and satisfaction. The event was held at 1Utama Shopping Centre (Old Wing) ground floor concourse.

Personal grooming is very important in our daily lives as first impressions are very important. I for one am well aware how important personal grooming is but have never bothered to groom myself before leaving the house XD;; I'm not one to dress up as I'll constantly keep checking to make sure my makeup is intact or my shirt buttons are all buttoned... nevertheless... I'm always keen to check out new tips for grooming also also makeup tips for cosplay purposes :P

The opening ceremony started with an opening gambit of 3 dancers interpreting Guardian's theme of transformation.

From a plain Jane to a beautiful butterfly. Guardian aims at empowering their customers to be beautiful on the inside and outside.

Before the launch, 10 lucky Guardian Facebook fans were selected to undergo a transformation with Guardian's guidance. They received an instant makeover and wowed the crowd with a mini catwalk show during the launch. Kudos to the makeup artists and hair stylists from A Cut Above academy!

More than 1000 ladies including men turned up for the Guardian's Great Makeover event where they were treated to great bargains of beauty products while enjoying a makeover at the same time. Participants get to enjoy a makeover session by professional makeup artists from A Cut Above Academy. Once the makeup was completed, participants can get their picture taken and bring home their pictures in an exclusively designed frame for free

I tried out the makeover and I can tell you, the artists were so talented!! >w< I loved what the makeup and hair stylist did for me <3 It's one of the best makeovers I've had so far :3 Don't be shocked at my before and after photo ya haha

Loved what they did to my eyes! <3 Sexy~~~~ :D The eye makeup lasted throughout the whole day without creasing or smudging! :D

Brought home Avene's gentle toner (RM62+, normal price was almost RM80!) and also Maybelline's Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in Bad to the Bronze shade. I went to 3 other pharmacies nearby my office and the Color Tattoo eyeshadow aisle was cleaned out! Definitely gotta give it a try soon hehe :D

OB for Shu Uemura x Plusizekitten Event

Imagine how happy I was when I got the invite to Tammy's event together with Shu Uemura! Have been so horribly emo and moody, I just needed to go somewhere and destress >_<. When I saw Tammy's event, I knew by hook or crook I HAD to get my ass there. The last Shu Uemura x Plusizekitten event I attended was the Tsumori Chisato Xmas party and it was such a blast! Thank you Tammy for having me at your event \T__T/

The best part was, it's a dress up event!!! *_* I've been so cosplay deprived due to a few setbacks so this event was a good excuse for me to dress up! *_*b. Try and guess which princess I dressed up as! :D

Each year, Shu Uemura collaborates with a young and upcoming Japanese artist to come up with a limited edition collection that is sure to charm the Shu Fanatics. This year they've collaborated with a young Japanese artist, OB and launched a dreamy and magical collection that revolves around 4 princesses to help aid your skin concerns.

Reached there a bit late and my hands were kinda full so didn't snap much pictures T__T. It was great meeting new people :D and some familiar faces. Gods its been ages since I've been to a blog related event.

After that, attendees were free to mingle around and play with the testers. Shu Uemura has specially provided brand new brushes for the event so we got to use clean brushes *w*. I ended up using my own fingers LOL. Didn't really play around that much as I had already did my own makeup before heading to the event.

There was also a competition going on during the event, awards were out for grabs for the Best Dressed OB Princess and Most Creative Artist.

Alicia won Best Dressed OB princess :D She sew her own costume just for the event! Definitely deserved the prize :D

There was an extra award for the Best Effort, went to this lucky lady here :) Love what she did to her eyes. The sparkle effect reminds me of Glinda's makeup from Oz

Tadah! Decided to go as the Cherry Blossom princess as the its almost the Sakura season in Japan. Also... mainly because I only have a pink wig *gets smacked*. Yukata and obi were from Onini, additional props were bought from here and there haha.

Everyone went home with a goodie bag and I was surprised when I found out inside the goodie bag was a Limited Edition 24k Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler!!!!! OMG Thank you Shu Uemura for the generous gift!!!! and thank you again Tammy for having me there!!!! Will definitely use the Rm20 voucher to get the Ocean Bead mini eyelashes and the cute Sakura Custom Case Duo Eyeshadow.
