Li BingBing's Red Carpet Event @ Sunway Pyramid

After the press conference, Li BingBing had other interviews to attend but she's scheduled to appear at Sunway Pyramid at 7.30. Me and Arisa went to the entrance about 6pm to register ourselves :D

As the night approaches, all the camera men were already on standby waiting. I was already drenched in sweat trying to fight my way between all the big and tall photogs @_@

Opening ceremony started with a group of zombies coming in the performing a dance at the stage area.

Followed by Li BingBing's arrival. Oh gosh I feel so lucky to snap a shot of her looking at me!! *w*b

Really good experience covering this event the last 2 days but I think it will be my first and last XD;;

Resident Evil: Retribution Press Conference @ Empire Hotel

Sorryyyyy T_T I was suppose to be blogging about this last week but I had to juggle a few things and I can't write posts bit by bit each day D: So anyways, I had the chance to cover the Resident Evil press conference and the red carpet event last week thanks to Arisa. I went there as a Media representative on behalf of Newskaki.com.

Friday morning, we had the Resident Evil Press Conference at Empire Hotel, Subang. Due to miscommunication, I was misinformed about the time =_=. I came on time but it sucked that I had to wolf down my breakfast and rush like a mad woman =w=;; Pictures in this post credits to Swing's camera, dammit I'll be super sad parting with it soon T___T

We were given a press kit along with a First Aid Kit with enough gauze to stuff up our nose incase we nose bleed from seeing Li BingBing. Nah just kidding XD

There was still a bit of time so me and Arisa started adjusting the settings on our cam to prepare for Li BingBing's arrival :D

Li BingBing arrived shortly after that and oh gods all hell broke loose with the flashes coming from the army of photogs DX Me and Arisa are left hopeless with our baby kit lens lololol. Below are some of the decent shots saved by slowly counting the timing of the photog's shutters =/

She spoke mandarin throughout the press conference so thank god for translators! \>A</ She talked about the difficulties during the filming. The film was filmed in Canada and at that point of time, she was filming for another movie in China. Though both parties made a compromise, it was still very tiring for her to travel between Canada and China every few months. She loved how there were many nationalities involved in the production of the film like Russians and Australians.

People also thought she couldn't speak a word of English so imagine their surprise when she spoke a little English XD;; It was a lot easier for her to communicate when she spoke English. She also picked up shooting due to the nature of her character and now she's loving it! So far she's quite satisfied with her role though she wished there were more fighting scenes.

Prior to the filming, she watched all the Resident Evil movies and compared it to the game to study the nature and role that Ada Wong has. She looked into Ada's movements, her body language, her speech hoping at the same time to understand what gamers are expecting. 

One fun fact we found out is that she's Gucci's spokesperson :D so her wadrobe for this 2-day event is sponsored by Gucci~ Next post shall be on the red carpet event :3

My HM fashion obsession D8

After watching the Hannah Montana movie, I just can't stop squealing over her pretty clothes! I never liked her cuz of the retarded things she does in the series and her singing voice ain't that great but oh gosh her sense of fashion is nice TwT and she looks extremely good in most of them. Why aren't there pretty and affordable clothes here dammit!!

Blue Sunday

Watched Public Enemies today with King since I was darn bored and everyone was away =( and I have to say...

IT SUCKED

Oh no the actors didn't suck. The storyline and filming did. The filming was done as though it was a poorly made documentary. Don't know whether that's the style they want but it gave me that impression. I was so distracted by that throughout the whole movie and it's not funny considering I'm not the observant type =(. Only thing I enjoyed was the Heineken ad in the cinema...

After that, we went for tea at San Terri. Their selection of cakes look so good TwT. I forgot to take pics of the tiramisu cake >o< but didn't order the cake cuz broke desu TwT;; People owe me money till I can't even pay Audrey her RM10! >A< So we only had the 1001 Night Tea which is a combo of Green and Black tea + Sunflower and Strawberries.

Today was the last day for the Shu Uemura roadshow~~ *squeals~!!!* One thing I like about MidValley is that the cosmetic roadshows give samples and free makeovers! *_*b. The last time I went, there was a Kanebo roadshow and visitors can get free skin consultation and a sample pack of their skin care set that suits your skin ^o^~ This time Shu Uemura had this game where you spin the wheel and you'll get samples depending on where the wheel stops at XD;; so I got Shu's toner and some eye cream XD~ Was hoping to get their cleansing oil but hey~ can't complain with freebies~ 8D

And The Wheel Continues to Turn

Ok cool so I haven't been updating much cuz HS5 has washed my brain at night and in the morning I'm busy with work.

Yesterday I went to Astro to watch over the recording for Matta Fair's radio ad. Quite interesting and I got to meet some cool DJ's and the voice overs for the ad =D. The cafeteria rox as it's like some mini buffet spread only that you have to pay. I took 2 huge cakes and teh ais in total costs only RM2 8D. It can be a very nice photoshoot area if you're looking to photoshoot at empty roads. It's just so quiet and the parking is almost empty. They have a very carefree environment but security is quite tight @w@

After work, me and Brian rushed for the Watchmen premiere. We had to work for the tix by dressing like the people from the slums and harassing people in the halls not to watch the movie. The movie was good but the music they picked was just wtf.... making the movie look kinda retarded.... My verdict...

DON'T WATCH WATCHMEN!!! T__T *holds sign*

All in all, life is extremely good minus the few minutes of unpleasantness for the past 2 days. Pics will be up tonight.

Robot Lurve and Dairy Cravings

Yeah! Went to watch Wall-E finally! A big mistake for not booking as it totally slipped my mind that school children are on holidays. This shows how much I ignore the existence of my sibling haha. Halfway queueing for tickets when the announcer cut off our conversation by announcing that the 2pm tickets were cleaned out. I started panicking as he said the 2.45pm show is highlighted in yellow but lady luck was shining on us XD. As we were looking through the seatings, the lady asked us whether we could chill for 2 mins as the reserved seats are about to be cancelled 8D! So in the end we got quite nice seats *_*

Awesome movie I gotta say *o* though some minor things in there are questionable. Cockroaches shall surviveeee =_=, what a way to spoil such a romantic moment orz. I almost cried during some scenes ;_;

Someone evil was banning me from milk the whole day =_=;; milkshakes.... gelatos... ;_; I had some nice porridge for lunch though =D but really craving for a milkshake DX. Tomorrow, time to shop shop shop! At my mums expense thankfully.
