Why I Need A Pair of Havaianas

I'm a flip-flop person ever since I suffered an injury from wearing heels. Now I can't wear heels otherwise, I'll feel a sharp stabbing pain up my waist so I wear flip-flops to just about anywhere.

I wear flip-flops to work
I wear flip-flops when I go for a date
I wear flip-flops to go shopping
I wear flip-flops to the beach
I wear flip-flops when I go travelling out-station

Ok ok... I think you get the drift haha! I wear flip flops to just about anywhere unless I go hiking or to the gym. Biggest problem about flip-flops... is that they don't last long since I wear them everywhere. Either the strap snaps or the sole gets worn out.

I've heard so much about Havaianas butter-soft sole but I've yet to try it >w<. Here's to hoping I can get myself a pair in time for the spa party!


Reason 1 - Buttery Sole for my Hardworking Feet
Havaianas is well known for being butter soft, bouncy, soft and durable. Sounds pretty much heaven for my feet as I walk and stand a lot most of the time. Walking on Malaysian roads is a pain especially if you don't have good shoes. My current flip-flop soles are already worn so I often slip especially when the pavements slant downwards..... I have yet to fall flat on my face...... note... YET.

Reason 2 - Comfort with Style!
Havaianas continues to grow with its wide variety of styles and colors. If you've seen their ads, Havaianas ads are always colourful and cheeky :P Feels like a young and hip brand *_*b

My favorite would be the Slim and High styles. Slim because the straps are thinner so they look more dainty on my feet. High style because they're very practical when walking in Malaysia especially during the rainy season *laughs*

With so many celebrities wearing Havaianas, goes to show how comfortable and stylish these flip-flops are! My current flip-flops are just plain black and I wear them more often than all my other shoes combined lol. That is just how much I rely on flip-flops >< Most of the time I even wear flip-flops to bloggers events *malu* Ask anyone and they'll tell you 95% of the time wear flip-flops.

Reason 3 - To Match My Wardrobe for the Spa Party! :P

From what I gather, the spa party will be all pink and purple. I'm not a pink person so I tried mix and matching earlier today to see what I can put together for the Spa Party :D

Feels weird wearing a bathrobe to a Spa Party, cuz I normally wear nothing (ok maybe a swimsuit underneath) lol so thought of finding a matching outfit to put together orz. I'm no fashionista so you're most welcome to hit me with rotten tomatoes if I look bad T_T

I'll be going with pastel blue to the event but yours truly doesn't have the right footwear other than her worn out black pasar malam flip fops!! >A<

Omg this is one of my favorites! So simple yet so beautiful! As you can see, I'm a sucker for their embellishments hahaha! 

So please Fairy Godmother Havaianas *_* grant me a pair if you may and convert me into the Havaianas addiction like Megan Fox *_* Did you know, she has over 100 pairs of Havaianas???? All in different color and styles lol.

Spa Party? Oh Yes Me Needs One! ;_;

Ever since I joined my new agency life, the last couple of months has been a rough road for me. Everyday I wake up at 7am, reach work by 8.30am, clock in about 12 hours average and reaching home by 11pm and if I'm 'lucky' enough, continue working after a shower then sleeping by 1am (if there's no work).

Me right now at 2.30am still working on a presentation for a 9.30am meeting....

My unhealthy hours plus my unhealthy diet has left me fat and a zombie faced *points down*

A spa party for members of The Butterfly Project! This is the biggest spa party I've seen that has so many collaborations with many well-known brands!

• Posh! Nail Spa - Enjoyed my last experience and I'm dying to go back and let people tend to me <3
• Idea Food Solution - It's not a party without food :D
• Fotobox - I've never experience fun photobooths, other than when I go take my passport picture LOL so am really excited to find out what will be in store for the Spa Party *_*

Idea on the experience with fotobox. I hope photos will be printed for us to keep for memories *_* (if I can score the invite of course hehe)

• Tres Chic Party Planner - Coincidentally, I attended my friend's baby shower just a few days ago which was also organized by Tres Chic! and I must say they did a lovely job :D  felt like I was attending a cosy tea party.

• The Body Shop Malaysia - A major beauty brand that is a retailer of natural products. I've been a fan of their brushes and also recently, the Deep Sleep pillow mist that I got from Bag of Love :D 
• so Soft. so JOHNSON'S® - Oh my, I never knew they re-branded themselves until recently *ashamed*. I still remember using their body lotion and their no more tears shampoo as a kid :P. 
• Havaianas Malaysia - Only the most comfortable pair of flip-flops in the world!!! I had a pair myself.... until my mum took it ;_;.... here's to hoping to get another pair soon. *prays*
• Pink N Proper - bringing you only the trendiest brands and items found in the UK. I can see myself trying their clothes then posing at the Fotobox like a diva *_*
• TT Mask - I've heard so many good things about their mask and missed out the great deals attheir booth during IBE!
• OnlyBeauty - Would they be giving samples during the party? hoho 8D

With that many collaborations.... WHO WOULD MISS THIS? ( ಠ.ಠ) There shouldn't even be a reason for me to miss this awesome possum event! I've seen how Tammy works so hard finding sponsors and I've enjoyed attending her events. If anything... there's 10 partners there, I'm expecting 10 TIMES the fun together with 50 of the lucky beauties - Reason 1 for anyone NOT to miss this event.

I look forward to the thought of being able to escape from work, from the house and being pampered on hand and feet (maybe body and face too? *grins*). The idea of relaxing and catching up with people while being taken care of instead of taking care of people for a just a moment sounds heavenly (´∀｀)♡ which gives me another reason not to miss out on this Spa Party  ☆～（ゝ。∂）

Getting an invite to this Spa Party would be a good excuse for me to catch up with bloggers :) There's only 4 weekends a month and I have to split it between family, work (no shit), cosplay, CF, chores, friends, boyfie, blogging and the list just goes on. I don't go to blogger events that much and often when I meet the bloggers at another event, it feels like I'm meeting new people all over again since I hardly know much about them ><. So this here is my initiative to try and go meet more bloggers at the next upcoming event! >w<b

Unzipping Tea Party with Bag of Love & Delectable Su

ARGH! 3 weeks delay to update this! Damn I'm a horrid blogger T_T. Right after this event, I had so much work piling up not to mention I had a shoot early May so had to put my blogging on halt. But now that I'm back (hopefully long enough to churn out a few posts), would like to share about the last event I went which was an UNZIPPING event hehehe. No it didn't involve me or any other human unzipping lol.

Late April, I scored an invite to be one of the first few people to unzip Bag of Love's April bag :D. There were 2 sessions with 15 people for each sessions held at Delectable Su.

One of the rare times that people arrived much earlier :P Guess everyone's so excited for the tea party *w*.

The dessert table that greeted the girls *_* OMIGOSH look at all those desserts!!! So many of us and only 15 of us haha I didn't touch much of the desserts cuz I'm not one to eat such sweet foods so early in the morning ><.

Being bloggers, we were all swarming the dessert table and snapping photos for a good hour. No one dared to touch the food for some unknown reason haha. Maybe scared other people haven't got their shots? Or desserts too pretty to eat? XD

Meet Mi Mi, a self professed beauty addict, formerly a beauty writer for some of the biggest beauty magazines in Malaysia and now the person behind the Bag of Love. I was surprised to find out she's a mum to two kids! OAO She's so bubbly yet humble as she spoke about the Bag of Love, telling us her difficulties when preparing the bags while sharing how much she enjoys what she's doing. After her speech, Santa Tammy came out and gave us each an April edition Bag of Love (wheee!!!).

Oh wow!! Look at all those products!!! My mind immediately registered Body Shop, Decleor, Burts Bees and Definite! So happy that there's a Definite brush in the bag! :D Last month, it was a cheek brush, this time it's a contour brush which is a cosplayer's must have hehe! I was considering to buy a contour brush but not anymore as the Definite brush in April's Bag of Love is in FULL SIZE! :D More about the products in the next post!

TT__TT Thank you The Butterfly Project for working hard to organize the event for us girls! Thoughts on the Bag of Love

I first heard about the beauty box trend when VT debuted their beauty box in Singapore. It didn't take long for the fad to reach our shores and to date, we have about 7-8 beauty box brands available locally. Each offering an assortment of brands under their belt.

Truthfully I was quite interested in trying out the beauty box experience myself... but none of them have captured my interest so far.... until the Bag of Love came along and snuck itself into my 'To Buy' list! Oh noesssssss *dies*

The Bag of Love is one of its kind as it's a 'beauty box' that comes to your doorstep in a bag :D Founded by Mi Mi Teh, a former beauty writer for some of Malaysia's top women's magazines. The products are carefully selected and packaged by Mi Mi herself! and it comes at an affordable price of RM39.90! Given the chance, I would love to experience the Bag of Love myself for so many reasons *O*/

Check out their debut bag for the month of March. I'm totally impressed at the effort done for this bag *O*, colors remind me of Victoria Secret merchandise It's not noticeable in the picture but even the bag itself has its own golden label! :) Not only that, the contents of the bag are also just as impressive as the bag itself. By the way, the bag designs change every month which is just awesome hehe~ just perfect since it'll be weird to have the same bag design every month @_@.... we'll end up having lots of spares at home LOL


2. The Promise: 5 Deluxe Samples

Look at all those itemsssss *O* they're all deluxe samples and there's even a full size brush!!! The amount of items in that bag are definitely worth every penny spent! I like that there are no sachet samples in the bag as we can always get those kind of samples free from the counter. On top of the 5 deluxe samples, they've also thrown in a couple of surprises like a free movie pass and also gift vouchers :D

3. Personality, I like :)

Unlike other brands, Bag of Love has a cute mascot representing Mi Mi herself :) +100 points from me as I loved how Bag of Love has been using the mascot to communicate with the fans. I do feel a close connection to the brand already and I haven't even subscribed yet XD;;

4. Surprises That Just keep Coming
Last but not least, the little hints that Mi Mi leaves on the Facebook page just keeps me coming back for more <3 Just to drop a hint here..... :D
